The Maasdam was built in 1952 for the Holland America Line. Modest in size at just over 500 feet long, she was nevertheless very beautiful and well-balanced.

Thanks for the send off. we're planning to do a detailed report when we arrive home. Looking forward to a good ship,people,and perhaps "some good food" See toy good folks in a week(sounds very short) until then stay well and God bless!
