I am giving this one more try. Does anyone have Oosterdam daily programs for the Mexican Riviera? I would really appreciate any help.

No disrespect intended, but I think you will be fine if you don't know every days events before you get on board. We have survived 12 cruises now w/o knowing, with no visible damage.
Bringing these home, scanning them in, and uploading to the 'Net is a bit of work. I think you are talking about 10 day cruises, right?
If you have sailed on HAL (or other lines)before, you have a basic idea of the types of events scheduled, altho they are constantly being modernized or upgraded. And, occaisionally someone invents something new!

I have them from last week. I should be able to scan the "Today at a Glance" pages, which list all the activities for the day on the front, and the restaurant and services hours on the back. I will try to post them by tomorrow.

I appreciate it. The day at a glance would be perfect. To answer a previous post. I have been on several cruises and can get by without knowing in advance what is going on however my wife is leading a group of her art students and will be conducting lessons with them onboard. Logistically we like to plan around the ships schedule so that they all can enjoy what is going on while cruising.

It makes perfect sense then to study the daily programs ahead of time. I am not very artistic but if a cruise was involved I think I could find my creative side! :D

As an outside observer of my wife and her students I can say that their creativity soars when they take her workshops on a cruise. With no worries except what time to get to class they just amaze me with their progress. My wife is a great artist and a great teacher. She loves her students and really enjoy's seeing them excel.

Chuck,
Thank you very much. This will really help in our logistical planning. I will pass this on to our roll call. They have wanted to see these also. The only difference is we will go to PV first and then Mazatlan.

This is so helpful, thank you! I hope this schedule holds for the January 29 cruise because I like having no conflict between trivia and tea time.

Thanks for posting those. They were a real eye-opener - lol.
We are going on our 1st HAL cruise and it looks like not much entertainment for us! We have late traditional seating so looks like the "show" and Karaoke conflict and the only thing right after dinner is the disco at 10:30 - bizarre. We are in our mid to late 40's - we are not "party animals" but do not like going to bed right after dinner. We are going on a 14 day cruise on the Oosterdam and then, our other cruise we have booked is a 22 day on the Zuiderdam. Might have to rethink this.... Please tell me if I have the wrong idea.
Thanks,
Canuck

It's going to take you 2 1/2 hours to eat?
An option would be to switch to Open Seating and eat a bit earlier.

If our dining is at 8pm and the entertainment is at 9pm or 9:30pm - in our experience - it would be impossible to make it there. Yes - on other cruiselines (RCCL, Princess, Celebrity, Carnival) dinner is easily two hours and sometimes longer. I have to have traditional seating as I have food allergies and it is better controlled with a guarantee of the same Headwaiter and waitstaff.
On other lines - the 2nd show for late seating is sometimes before dinner but usually at 10:30pm which allows us time to make it. Karaoke and other piano bar activities start later or if they start at the same time as the O'dam - they run for a couple of hours, not an hour like the Karaoke on HAL. From that daily list (forgot the proper name) it does not seem that there is much going on, so we are a bit concerned.
So, now do you see the problem?:)

Indeed :D
Many of the Vista Lounge shows are listed at 10:00 PM, perhaps you could skip desert (order something yummy from Room Service afterwards that's on your safe list) and make it there on time (?)

maxout - well, maybe 10pm we could make it - I haven't gone back and looked but I thought I saw things at 9:30 and 9:45pm, so that is why I was worried. Tell me, if the guy in the Piano Bar starts at 9pm - how long do they usually play? We love piano bars and that sort of thing so hoping it goes later than I think it does.:)
We were on the Coral Princess for our honeymoon five years ago and we were the only ones up at 11pm - we were wandering the ship looking for activities and it was dead as a doornail so I am hoping it is not a repeat of that cruise - but they didn't even have a disco - they used Explorer's Lounge as the disco but nobody but a few staff members and us were there - lol.
Thanks for your help.

I have to totally agree with the above post.....starting shows/entertainment anytime before 10 PM will present a problem for LTDiners. We are also used to a second show or entertainment starting up around 10:30 PM on Princess/ RIIC/CCL. I guess we will have to eat up fast on some nights if we want to see the shows. Sure hope we can find seats.
Also the daily programs states that the 'Pool Party' starts at 9 PM...so I guess we will have to skip dining in the TDRoom if we want to participate in that since we are LTDiners?....Bummer! :(

Hi, Thanks for posting them but I only saw food and beverage info plus movie info. What about on-board activities? Thanks. Joyce

Thanks for posting the front side of the program but it is for the first day; i.e., no morning activities listed. Any chance you could post a program for a sea day that would show the full day of activities and meal services? Sorry to be picky :). Joyce
