Barcelona to Rome Help!!

I'm trying to convince my sister to try her first Regent cruise. She's considering the September 3rd Barcelona to Rome cruise on the Mariner. Has anyone done this cruise? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've done three Regent cruises and loved them. I'm convinced, now I just need to convince her. Thanks for your help.

That's the one DH and I are booked on. It will be our first Regent cruise.

This is a very port-intensive cruise, like most Med. cruises. So the destination really becomes more important than the ship. September in the south of France is still very busy, even though most schools have started. And hot. Same for Italy. If your sister likes lots of sightseeing she will most likely enjoy the cruise but I don't think that port-intensive cruises are the best way of taking advantage of a luxury line like Regent...
