We'd like to try a Fred Olsen cruise in the Caribbean and I'm starting to do research.
I seem to be blocked at the beginning as all I can find are fly/cruise packages from the UK. I realize I'm not the target market, but does anyone know how this can work for me? Is there a site that will tell me how to book just the cruise?

Why not get in touch with FO at Ipswich,perhaps arranging your own flights would be the thing :)

I agree. Contact Fred. Olsen in Ipswich. Some of their fly cruises are listed in their brochure as "cruise only". In these cases you would merely have to arrange the flight from Canada to the appropriate port.

Fred do have cruise only prices but we found the discount they gave for cruise only was quite small. This may work out better for you as your flights will be cheaper, it also works out cheaper if you want to do either a pre or post cruise stay. Hope you find a suitable deal soon:)

Thanks for your help. I wonder if my Canadian travel agent would be any help. I think I'll ask, but I'll also try to contact the cruise line directly.

It is wonderful to see Fred Olsen taking the trouble to help with and answer enquiries like this.
We have cruised on 2 of Fred Olsen ships. I took my daughter at 19 on a wonderful Iceland and the Midnight Sun voyage. All age groups well looked after. My daughter kayaked down a fjord whilst I climbed a mountain and recieved instructions on wild flower photography from a local artist with wine in his gallery afterwards ( organised trip of about 20 )
My daughter liked it so much she took a group of 8 friends on a mini cruise on the Bouddica for her 21st birthday.They had a great time, with a champagne breakfast, special cake at dinner all organised by Fred Olsen with just a phone call from me to let them know it was a 21st.
Thank you Fred Olsen for making this such a special occasion.
I hope you can book the cruise you want Koshlong and happy sailing to all.
