Grunpy and Slinkie's thread on their world wide cruise that has been such a pleasure for so many of us now has 262 entries. This poll will allow you to guess how many entries will be in it when they dock on May 6 in Florida.
I expect it will set a record. If anybody knows of long threads please post it.

In the Carnival board, there is a thread that has 8324 posts!!!!
That is the longest that I have every seen!

A thread in the Floataway Lounge, Amazing Race (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=115150), that started in December 2005 has over 29,000 posts and is over 1,100 pages long.

The Brow Cow thread, for those who are in the dark, was a test thread I created last night. It has since disappeared but it only received 11 replies. Guess it wasn't interesting enough.:rolleyes:

Right now? Black coffee.
When I posted the How Now Brow Cow test last night I was sipping a fine 2000 Concha y Toro Chardonnay (Chile).
Now Toro in Spanish means Bull. And a bull is a male bovine. And a female of that genus is called a Cow. And the Concha y Toros has a yellow and brown label. And my DW asked me How the wine was Now that it had been out for 30 minutes. And my brow wrinkled when I tasted it.
So that boiled down to her asking me How Now Brown Cow? while my brow was still contracted.
Thus my post, "How Now Brow Cow."

I tried to work it out mathematically and came up with 800-899 allowing for some downtime in the middle and more people joining in as time goes on. We shall see!!!:rolleyes:

When I creatred this thread I didn't imagine how many people would post to Slinkie and Grumpies world cruise forum. I only allowed for 1200 as the maximum guess and that has been surpassed.
FYI note the infomation on long threads that the host mentioned.

lipoppop... interesting that you chose 1200 and up as the last choice... The last post from the Prinsendam after arrival in Ft Lauderdale was 1206 by ChiefPurser, who was sitting next to Slinkie and Grumpy in the Queen's Lounge. The last post on the day of arrival by anyone was #1222... Although the thread continues, and is getting up toward 1400. Since the question in the poll was "how many posts by the time they docked in Florida", 1206 would be a pretty good place to define the end of the thread as far as posts prior to Grumpy and Slinkie leaving the ship.

Most of the threads never end... they just fade away from the first page.
