oooops. I guess it WOULD help to list the city of embarkation. How do I find the ship with the big X if I am in Fort Lauderdale? Sorry

It wasn't printed on our ticket for our 1/31/04 cruise which really suprised as it had been printed in the past. I called customer service to find out and they were able to check for me. Celebrity uses one of two piers in Ft. Lauderdale -depending on how many ships they have in port that day. On the day we sailed, they only had one in and the drivers (cab and courtesy vans from the hotels) all seem to know exactly where to go.

Let alone not the same pier for different voyages, we did not dock at the same pier we left from. I guess it depends on which ships are departing/arriving the same day, which docks first, etc, etc.

In Port Everglades as you enter the port grounds, there's a board that states which pier each ship is at that particular day (i.e. Pier 3- Century). It's very similar to at airports the signs saying which terminals each airline is in if it's a multi-terminal airport.
Hope that this helps.

As someone pointed out, there will be signs as you enter the port. However, the last few times we've sailed it has been from pier 18. Check out attached info if you'd like.

Pier 18 is usually where they leave from, the other pier they use is 25.
This past February we left from 18 and returned at 25.
Hope this helps.

No matter the pier number Maryv.
If you fly into Ft. Lauderdale the pier is only 5 minutes from the Airport.
Next - Millennium - The wait begins anew. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
