The Lido Buffet--is this venue open for dinner every evening as alternative/informal dining? Hours please if you know. Thank you.

I'd also like to know the evening Lido hours on the Volendam.
Thanks.

If I remember correctly, the Lido is open for dinner each night, except for the last evening onboard, from 6 pm - 7:30 pm. This could change each day, so please check your daily schedules for the exact times each day.

The Lido is open for dinner, on formal night I think it is open to crew only, you can get room service for dinner also.

I believe the Lido is open for dinner on formal nights. I enjoy the dining room on formal nights, but I believe the Lido is open.

Yes, there is a great BBQ on the Lido Deck one night. Look at your daily program for the day. Enjoy!!

doone,
Thanks for that little tidbit. I'm liking this cruise more and more. Well except for the time changes on the itinerary. ;)

On some ships that we have been on, the Lido was open from 6 - 7:30 for dinner while on other ships it was open from 6:30 - 8. Each ship sets its own rules.
Check your daily program for your ship's schedule.

We had dinner either in the Pinnacle or Lido every night on our last "O " cruise.
The Lido is great! The food is pretty much the same items that are in the dining room. There will be a wine stewart. There are candles on the tables, music playing and a very nice quiet atmosphere. At least that was our experience in Dec. It was also cooler in temperature than the dining room. A plus for me. We also enjoyed being by ourselves for the 42 anniversary cruise. No tablemates, just two "fabulous " people !!
I did not notice a reduction in service. The crew " fussed " over us and took good care of us.

Does anyone know if an S-Suite passenger can host a small dinner party (4-6 people) from that evening's dinner menu on the verandah?
I know it can be done for PS passengers in their suites...

That's "BBQ" in the Northeastern sense - what the rest of the country calls "cookout". Nothing like good Carolina or Texas Que.....
