Just booked the O-dam for the mexican riviera 10/29. Did the Western Caribbean same time last year and fell in love with her. Anyone know of any on board credits for this sailing or other perks??? How can I find out about onboard credits??? Was wondering if HAL could move HMC over to the other coast as that was the highlight of our Carribean cruise. Not much hope for that one!!!:D :)

You can get on-board shipboard credit by booking another cruise, doesn't have to be the same ship, while still onboard your current cruise. I did this last March. Booked the Volendam for this March while still onboard the Rotterdam. I received $150 per cabin shipboard credit. I am not aware of any other offerings, perhaps some travel agencies offer some type of shipboard credit, but not sure. Someone else here may have another experience with this. Good luck and enjoy the Oosterdam.

Hi N.W.! We will be on that same cruise. :) Booked it about 2 months ago through an on-line agency and we were given a special package, which includes two free meals at Pinnacle's, 2 bottles of wine and a video of our Cruise. Don't know if anyone else is offering this.

We have a few other couples who are booked for this same Cruise. A thread was started on the HAL roster, but its not very active yet since the time is quite a ways off. BTW, I had heard from one of the Posters, back in December sometime, that there is a large group of Gay people who will be on this Cruise, they have a name but I can't remember what it was. Anyway, should be fun, can't wait!

Hi there!

I'll be sailing a couple weeks after you...but I also booked through an online TA and received dinner in the Pinnacle and four bottles of wine...and a small credit. As the previous poster stated, some agents provide these incentives.

Feel free to email me for the information at tiffnco@sbcglobal.net but I found my offer through *************.com...which lets you post your travel info and agents "bid" on your trip...they will list what ammenities (if any) they will provide. It also let's you see the price differences.

The offer that I got is a $100 American express card after I finish the cruise.
