I can't see that you would need to as you can adjust the temperature in your cabin via the air conditioning control.

I always take a hand held fan abroad but it wouldn't help much in a cabin without A/C so we will just have to pray our cabins aren't affected cos there is no way I'm taking a full sized fan!!!
Can anyone who has travelled confirm the electric sockets in the cabins - I've heard there are American and European sockets - but please can someone who has already travelled advise and also are there tea/coffee making facilties in the cabins or do we have to take our own travel kettle?

In our outside cabin there was one American socket and one European one at the dressing table. There was also another one at the bedstead, I think this was European. We took one european adapter and a UK 4 socket block and had plenty of sockets then for all our chargers and electricals.

There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the cabins and I think you will find that travel kettles and irons are not allowed under cabin safety at the back of the brochure.

I believe that some of those with A/C problems were offered or were able to get fans from Thomsons. We were lucky and had no A/C problems.

Yes, no kettles are allowed in the cabins, mainly because of safety, there are smoke alarms, so you'll get caught out if you sneak one!
