 Anyone use the Hydro-pool recently ??? Is there an extra charge ? Any opinions - good/bad ? (looks larger than the one on the Rotterdam). I may have asked this question before -haven't been on the boards lately, sorry. :o

Yes -- there is a fee to use the hydro pool -- I don't know the prices as we don't use the hydro pool.
It is larger than the one on the Rotterdam. The Westerdam was built with this feature -- the Rotterdam's was an add-on thus it is really only a small whirlpool.

Hey Lady ;)
We just got off the Westerdam this past Friday the 21st.... Used the Hydropool and Thermal Spa every day.... we took advantage of the $199/couple special on day one (single was $129) you get the hydro/thermal spa, tile chairs and saunas....really enjoyed it and it was NEVER crowded! The Hydro/Thermal spa can fit about 5 comfortably across the back recliner bench, and 4 in the middle lower body massage section....there were jets and shower heads that people would float around and enjoy as well but the most we had in one time was maybe 7 people total and it was very comfortable.
There usually was a bit of a back up on the tile chairs as MANY did not adhere to the 20 min limit that is lightly asked during busier times...there were actually people standing on the wall waiting??? That made me very uncomfortable and I got up after 10 minutes when others had clearly been there much much longer (and were still there when I tried to return )
But in all, a great experience and plenty of room.
I believe someone stated a one day pass would be $40/day. Since we had 3 total sea days, we knew we would be there a lot.

Yes -- I do remember people saying that it is $40 per day per person.
