Hi all, my parents are on the Veendam's South American voyage and I have not been able to connect with them via email or text since Tuesday. Does the ship usually lose contact when going around the Cape? Thank you.

Yes the satelite system is very hit and miss down in South America especially in the Beagle Channel, Around the Cape Horn as well and into Stanley, Falkland islands. Also I dont know if they are doing the Antartica cruise as well as that area is very instable as well.:cool:;):cool:
