LAX to cruise port in San Pedro

Could anyone tell me the best way to get from LAX to San Pedro and back after the cruise. Also best hotels to say in San Pedro. thanks for your help.

I believe the cruise line transfers are $17. SuperShuttle or a cab would probably be cheaper.
I've stayed at the Sheraton LA Harbor Hotel and there's also a Best Western, Holiday Inn and Vagabond Inn. All are close to the pier and local attractions.

We stayed at the Sheraton LA harbor last year. They offer a package deal that includes room and round trip transfers airport/hotel and cruiseport/airport. You can check out the package on their website (unfortunately don't remember the web address, but if you do a search on the boards you should find it.
The room was adequate and it was close to the pier.

I was quoted a rate of $24 for 1 person or $33 for two from LAX to San Pedro. ALso got a quote for 2 from Orange County. That one was $45.

If you can fly Jet Blue, America West, Alaska or American, you should consider Long Beach Airport. It is a bit closer to the harbor and much less of a hassle than LAX.
