we are going to mexico 2/26 on the oosterdam. booked last week a deluxe verandah guarantee and got our assignment yesterday. sa7089. pretty excited!! first hal cruise so looking forward to it!

any comments or pictures on the cabin?

just thought of another question...is it better to book the pinnacle grill prior to the trip through the website or is it easy enough to get a spot once we are on the ship?

I see that Krazy Kruisers gave you the link to the Staterooms Photos (Thank You Yonnie!!!) here is the direct link to Deck 7 Look at SA 7078 the stateroom is an exact duplicate of SA 7089, just on the opposite side of the ship and 3 staterooms further aft: http://joanjett2000.topcities.com/HAL/Oosterdam/Deck-7.html

Congrats on the 'suite' life. You will really enjoy it. The rooms have plenty of real estate and the verandahs are very comfy. Have a great time :):):)

I've never booked ahead and have had no problem getting in to date. I'm a 4 star mariner so I don't want to have to fight to get my money back. The downside of booking ahead is that you'll need to part with the cash right away.

Almost everything I have read until this comment suggested to make reservatiopns in advance. If you cancel, they will just credit your cabin and you can use it for something else. Just my 2 cents worth!

Yes, that's correct. Sorry if my post wasn't clear on that.
