Guaranteed Category A

Hello,

I have booked a Verandah Category A guarantee on the Volendam's 8/10/05 trip to Alaska. The location of the A cabins looks great everywhere, so I thought I'd play the odds of an upgrade. If I don't get one, no big deal.

I am curious about being put into a handicapped A cabin, though. We really want a bathtub and the handicapped cabins don't have them. What are the chances of HAL putting me into a handicapped A cabin? Also, are ther any real bad locations in the "A" category? Many thanks!!!

There are also 4 sets of connecting cabins..Not a good choice... Verandah & Navigation decks both have A cabins. Which deck would you prefer??

It's one thing to book an inside/outside gurantee at very low prices & hoping for the best. But booking a Guarantee A costs substantially more, and maybe for just a few $$ more, you would get to pick your own cabin... An upgrade from an A to a Suite is extremely unlikely, but then, you never know....
