I am thinking of changing from a VE mid ship to VD 4044 or 4043 near the forward elevators for the larger balcony. VD4044 and 4043 are above some white unmarked areas on the deck plan. Does anyone know what these areas are ..specifically will there be noise?
Thanks

I'm not sure, but they look to me like hallways, and doors out to the promenade that you may hear slam sometimes.

if you are changing to a VD - go with VD 4166 or 4168. Both have double wide balconies (due to crew stairs in between).
Joanie has pix of them on her site.

I'd change to 4164 or 4168 in a minute but they are only for two occupants and we are a family of three. I've looked at them before with wishful thinking.

What about 4133 on the Eurodam - is this above the shops?

We were in VD 4048 in May on the Eurodam and did not have a noise issue at all. The room was convenient to the elevators but no noise firm those either. The deeper balcony on the VD rooms is nice.

Can anyone tell me if the Veranda rooms that only have a shower in the bathroom that are on the New Amsterdam and the Eurodam are smaller? My travel agent has tried to get an answer several times from HAL and they don't seem to know. We are on a guarantee and are thinking maybe we should move up to a VC were we can get an assigned room. Does anyone know??? Thanks.
