We are on the Eurodam 3/19/11. My 9 year-old niece will be with us and I'm wondering if there will be any chances for her to go dancing with the family, like in the disco at times? Will there be any Karaoke place she can be? Her and her mom love to sing together. I know there is the HAL kids club activities, I'm thinking more of things she can do with us.
Thanks!

your 9 year old daughter will not be allowed in northern lights -- it opens at 9 pm for adults
the ocean bar is more open to the public -- music starts at 7 pm -- she can dance there with you

Karaoke generally doesn't start until at least 9:00 and I have yet to see any kids there.
Perhaps Club HAL has karaoke where parents are allowed to participate?

Thanks for the info!
I'm thinking Auntie and Uncle can have her for a night doing more kid stuff and her parents can have a grown-up night out. Adults only places are good.

When I was on the Eurodam they did close off the culinary center one night and turned it into a teens-only disco/dance party, but that was clearly just for older kids. Didn't see anything like that for the young ones, and saw very few younger children (younger than say 12) roaming around in the evenings at all, unless they were coming from the show. I think most of the activities for adults start pretty late, and they assume the kids won't be up, so they don't provide for them, but the kids club may sponsor something during the day.

The Karaoke did start at 9pm on the Eurodam and there were many kids there. In fact, a few sang.

I stand corrected.:o I guess there weren't too many kids on either of my sailings, which would account for the lack of them at karaoke.

Thanks babygirl. This is a first cruise for everyone but me, and it's only my second. I want everyone to have fun!
