Just received an e-mail from HAL that we've been upgraded from a Quad F to a Quad VB on our upcoming cruise!! I didn't even think they EVER upgraded quads!

My GF's are going to be thrilled to have a balcony cabin!!

HaHa it's already too late, this will be my 4th HAL cruise, and DH and I have a future cruise credit at the ready. Not sure where or when, but somewhere fun I'm sure!

But yes, HAL earns big props from me on this one!

Oh that is funny-- Like first class once your there having your Ice cream Sunday you can never go back to coach .. :)

Isn't it a great feeling. We received an upgrade at dockside. Went from the lowest level outside up about 5 flights to a balcony. Every day I went out on the balcony and called out "we got a free upgrade".

That is a super upgrade indeed!!! One might suspect that the good feelings that are shared on this board have something to do with the fact that when it comes to customer loyalty, HAL is second to none.

In fact, this made me feel so good, I think I'll just go ahead and book another cruise!!!:D

Congratulation!!! Yes that is very rare to have a quad upgrade but it can happen. Enjoy your verandah view :)

It's randomized and just depends on what is available. Unless you say no upgrade at time of booking there is always a chance.

Awesome upgrade, congrats!!!
