Some Veendam questions

I will be traveling with my spouse and another couple to Bermuda. We are all in our late 30s/early 40s. We are not the type to stay up very late and "party" but I'm curious what type of entertainment there is onboard in the evening. I have read that the ship goes quiet very early.

Also, what time is the gangway open until in Hamilton and what time does the tender run until in St. George?

Anyone been on the Atlantic Reef Fishing excursion?

Lastly, how do their prices run on mixed drinks / beer?

What is your definition of very early?

DW and I enjoyed listening to the Adagio Strings Quartet before dinnner and having a cocktail.

Then there were performances in the Showroom at Sea by 5 very talented singers.

After taking a walk around the Promenade we would go to the Ocean Bar and listen to a three piece trio (piano, guitar, and drums and lovely vocals). They had a small dance floor. We would do this until about 11 P.M.

One night at 11 o'clock there was a performance by the Indonesian Crew which was very interestinng and well done which highlighted Indonesian culture.

Most nights I would head up to the Lido at 11 P.M. for a late snack.

I understand there is a D.J. in the Crow's Nest but DW was usually tired from exploring the beaches and surf of Bermuda and would hit the sack. I enjoyed either sitting out in the aft section in the Retreat area
or on the Promenade relaxing and taking in the sound of the waves.

On Wednesday night on Front Street they hold Bermuda Night which is
a type of street festival with vendors and performances by musicians and marching bands. Don't want to miss that.

We do not all take our Metamucil and Geritol and be in bed by 9.

Thanks for the reply! I'm sorry if I offended anyone. I just read on several different cruise review boards that by 9pm/10pm the ship was a ghost town.

once the ship gets to hamilton -- the gangway remains open all night long -- no time set for you to get back onto the ship each night that it is there

this is the schedule that was used last year for some of the ferries in st georges:
