I am a once a year cruise guy who works hard all year to save my pennies to be able to afford a cruise so when I relax I want to enjoy myself. I'm not a huge drinker but when I drink I want something done right. Sometimes they throw these clowns behind the bar and try to throw a drink together. My question is who is the best bartender on the Oosterdam or who did you notice takes pride in their work? Names and locations would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've never had a poorly made drink, but occasionally there's been a communication error and the wrong drink appeared before me. It was always cheerfully exchanged for the proper one.

Bong, in the Olive Pit, early, and the Piano Bar, late, as of a couple of weeks ago, but they rotate bartenders around each month, I think.

I am not sure if he is still onboard, but Richard in the Crow's Nest is a great guy and a friend of ours. :)

I was told by the bartenders on the Rotterdam that this is the case. Every couple of weeks they rotate to a different bar on the ship.
Seanparts,
Sorry I can't help with names, but you can try each bar. When you find a good one stick with him. ;)
