We still have Bar soap for the bath and sink on the Maasdam in Feb.

On the Westerdam in February there were in shower dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body gel. The small yellow soaps were still distributed for the sink. I asked for the larger white soap to use in the shower and was told they are no longer available -- since I am sensitive to the body gel and yellow soaps this was quite a surprise for me -- I scrubbed in the shower all week with shampoo -- next cruise I guess I will have to bring my own soap!

Lotion was still available in a small bottle.

Personally, I don't much care for HAL's bar soaps. They seem to retain water and eventually become almost like a bar of gel - very messy. I love the other bathroom products, but do bring my own small bottle of antibacterial soap for hand washing.

we only had the white bar soap on the nieuw amsterdam -- which dries out my hands too much

all the ships are now supposed to have the dispensers in the shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel

since we don't like any of the elemis products we bring all our own toiletries

That's a bummer...I love the scent of the larger round bar with white wrapper! I bring my own Aveda shampoo and conditioner as I don't care for the Elemis.

Glad to see that I am not the only one that does't like the Elemis products. I tend to have dry skin and these dry me out even more so I also bring my own products

Two weeks ago on the Nieuw Amsterdam, we had a small round yellow bar of soap for the sink which 'mushed out' rather quickly sitting in the sink's built-in soap holder. And for the shower, we had three Elemis dispensers: Shampoo, Conditioner, and Bath Gel. I didn't care for the smell of the shampoo or conditioner, but I LOVED the minty smell of the bath gel.

We got off Amsterdam a couple weeks ago after almost two months. They had the same soaps they have had before which we find useless in the shower and now body gel dispenser which we never use. Consequently, we bring bar soap to use - you know .. normal size bar that lasts about 15 days and for this trip we had brought four but one returned with us.
