Was wondering if anyone can tell me what the weather might be going to Hawaii in Nov.Going on Oosterdam got a balcony and wondering if we would be able to use it. Maybe too cold???? Thanks for any information.:):)

The temps could be cool, and the seas could be a little rough the first 2 or days, and the last 2 or so days coming back. But I would still keep the balcony.

I agree with CruiserBruce but would suggest that you choose a port side balcony so that you have the warmth of the sun most of the day on your crossing to Hawaii, when your anticipation for warm climate will be the greatest. I have sailed San Diego to Hawaii in March, October and early November. Always have found that I needed long pants and a windbreaker over long sleeved top on the first two and last two days of the cruise. In all three cruises we were fortunate to have fairly calm seas in both directions.

our first 2 days out of san diego were rough -- the last 2 days to san diego wre rough

but we certainly enjoyed pour verandah the other days

We did the trip over Christmas several years ago. Ditto the descriptions above.
