I will be sailing to the Baltic on the Eurodam this May with my elderly aunt. She now wants to invite her granddaughter to be a third in our stateroom. Is this room big enough for 3 adults?

If I read the title of your post correctly, you have a verandah stateroom.
there are some that are quads. The rest have sofas - what is the number of people the deck plan says will hold? and how old is your grandaughter?
that could make a big difference. ;)

We've had 3 adults in a veranda stateroom on the Noordam and the Zaandam. Those rooms are, I believe, quite comparable to most of the veranda rooms on the Eurodam. We had plenty of storage and no issues at all. Go for it!

Could be interesting- we have sailed on Eurodam several times in VD. I assume you would have the bed set up as twins and the couch converts to like a double. Your storage is 3 closet areas with shelves in one and hanging areas in the other two. There are also two small drawers beside the bed - think one for each bed. There is a desk which I think has two drawers. The bathroom had a long open shelf under the sink area. The veranda has 2 chairs and a medium table and there is a small table in front of the couch. You store your luggage under the bed.
I actually think it depends on the people - that is a very rigorous schedule in the Baltic so you are not in the room much at all. We had only 1 sea day. Good luck - I will be on her for the crossing til the 5th of May! She is one of our favorite ships.

What Stateroom number. I might have photos and description of it or a similar on her sister ship, Nieuw Amsterdam??

We were on the Eurodam in a Verandah cabin and as long as the granddaughter doesn't mind sleeping on a sofa bed then there should be enough room.

My sister just returned from her Eurodam cruise. They had a verandah which 'holds up to 4 people'. Regular verandah. They had no problem with 4 people. Herself, husband, teenage daughter and nearly teen daughter.
They were very pleased - so, if you don't mind sharing space, I think you should be fine :)

Ve 5109 is as close as I can come to VE 5122, but it appears that it should be an exact duplicate, just on the other side of the ship and 4 staterooms more mid ship.
Below are photos and the comments sent with them from Cruise Critic Member PatinJersey .
Edited to add that I am not sure if a 3rd chair could be comfortably added.

Eurodam Cabin 5109 on Veranda Deck. This cabin adjoined cabin 5011. This cabin is midship and a short walk from the elevators. I was cruising with my roommate from college so we had the beds separated. HAL supplied two bathrobes for our use that could be purchased at the end of the trip. Three 3 closets (one with a small safe) provided adequate storage. There was a small couch that could open into a bed but it would be a very tight squeeze to use it. Over the couch were two wall cabinets. Opposite the couch was a small desk with the refrigerator on the left side and a small cabinet on the right which held the hairdryer. Two electrical outlets (the only ones in the room) and a special outlet to plug in the hairdryer were located over the desk top. A small flat screen TV and DVD player were located over the left corner of the desk. A small hassock that held a blanket throw was used to sit at the desk. Between the couch and the desk was a small table. A drawer under the foot of one bed held a full size blanket. Two chairs and a small table were on the balcony (veranda). We didn't discover the cushions for the chairs, which had been tucked between the couch and the drapes, until the 5th day of the cruise. Unfortunately the veranda overlooked the top of the lifeboat so there was not a direct view down to the water. This was a little disappointing. We were able to fit our suitcases under the beds and the beds were quite comfortable.
This was my second cruise (the first was on RCL) and I thought the cabin was a good choice. Photos October 2010

Hi..I am sure that this info is somewhere but I could not find it. We just returned from a trip where we were in a mid-ship DVS on the Oosterdam. I plan to take my family on a cruise in December on the Eurodam. I want to be on Deck 7 (Rotterdam) so we have easier access to the Neptune Lounge. Can anyone tell me which cabin is best? I need two side by side so if only one of them is better, that is ok.
