Is anyone on this cruise? I can't find anything on the Boards about it.
I'm looking for people to join a private tour in Agadir, Morocco on May 16.

How many people do you want in the van? What is the plan for the tour? Will consider. Thanx.

This is a tour by Erlebnis Tours, which is described elsewhere on CruiseCritic. This is the description sent to me by the company: The Touradant tour is a good choice as you will see some of the countryside and usually the goats are seen in the argana trees en route...Taroudant is an old walled city and the souk is well worth a visit. A stop for a drink at the old Palais Salam which has a beautiful garden in the middle unseen from the outside is also a must see. This is a private tour and you can decide what you would like to see and do, our driver will take good care of you and make sure you see all the sights. More details on Touradant can be found on our website. Other tours you can do is (sic) the Petit Sahaar Tour and Agadir City Tour. With the short stay that you have in Agadir you would only have about an hour to spend in Touradant as we like to get you back to the port an hour before the ship sails again. We meet you at the port at 8 a.m... We return to the ship no later than 12 midday.
The price for 2 people private tour is 125 pounds. The price for a minimum of 6 is 21 pounds per person.
Their website is www.erlebnis-tours-maroc.com (http://www.erlebnis-tours-maroc.com).
We are willing to discuss the itinerary with anyone else who want to go.

Somehow I overlooked this thread until now--Betty Lou and I will be joining you all. (We are from Virginia, but the Northern part!)
Are there any plans to get together sometime, e.g., during Sail Away?

Hello Duct tape;
See you are off again. If you have time, you might hire a car for a trip to Sintra, a quaint little town out of Lisbon, and drive back on the coast and stop at one of the seaside restaurants. I remember the restaurant because they informed me that they would add a charge for use of the credit card. The credit card company put a charge on them so they just passed it on to the customer. I had no problem with that. After all it was my credit card. HA!
Don't remember the name of the restaurant.
BTW we are on the Shadow alt Itin after tsunami. Our friends cancelled after the change in itin. So we go to Seoul rather than Tokyo.

Love Sintra! Have a good trip on the Shadow. Hope you read the current thread on the Shadow about Seoul so you can prepare yourself!

Has anyone heard of an itinerary diversion on this cruise given the recent explosion in Marrakech?

When I saw that Cruise Critic could provide small images suitable for badges (http://www.cruisecritic.com/badges/ (http://www.cruisecritic.com/badges/)), I queried them to see if they had something large enough for a tented place card that could be set up, for example--as duct tape suggested--at the Pool Bar during Sail Away to identify a meeting place where we Roll Callers could meet.
Laura wrote back to say it was a great idea and she'd add it to her "To Do" list. In case it doesn't arrive before we depart (we're flying down a day early) I'll make one of my own, sans logos.
We hope to see everyone at the Pool Bar during Sail Away!

Greetings from Dominica! We are all here but haven't found everyone yet. Met Jack last evening at a cocktail party. Mayflower1 and his party are old sailing friends and we are scheduled to have dinner this evening with jgibbs! Will be in serach of whimsy soon. We have a few island days and then set out to sea for the crossing. The ship looks terrific even tho' she is the oldest and the last to go to drydock (not until next year). The maintenance on this ship is excellent. It sparkles. The crew sparkles too. Lots of familiar, smiling faces and warm greetings. Welcome home! Capt Sangiacomo has it all under control. Jorge is still running the DR with an iron first while Lionel oversees the chefs and cooks and Rama rules the wine. Gianni keeps the hotel functions running smoothly. Sandra is booking cruises already. Good trivia crowd. So, will be in touch later.

Ah, duct tape, Praise Be! that you are on this cruise: your posts (and that of Ging464, Bless Her Heart!) are the reason I come back to this site.
We're on it out of Southampton in one and a half months' time for the one around the British Isles.
Please, please send me (dmm14a@gmail.com) a scan of the Crew members in the front page of the Passenger List.
I'm not so concerned about the CD because there is only one day at sea; but, as you don't mention he/she: how are we doing in that area? It can be a worry.
Following on from that, you do mention the team trivia, ("Good trivia crowd") and which, on Seabourn, I've come to love because it is in the bright sunshine at 12:00 before lunch and there is a really big turn-out and because you have a few beers or whatever and then go down to lunch feeling good about the World and it all - but on Silversea it was in the dull of the afternoon after lunch when anyone who's had a good lunch is having a post-prandial lie-down to get ready for the evening. Are they still doing it mid-afternoon?

Funny, we all prefer what is "regular" to us. I prefer trivia at 5. On SB I found it inconvenient, especially since it was only held on days @sea (days@sea). Judie Abbott is here as CD and all is well. I will check when she goes on vacation. I confess to being technologically inept and have no idea how to scan! There will be a large crew turnover in Lisbon. Will try to note the changes and pass them along. Lovely day yesterday in St Barth's with sunshine, less humidity, breeze and good shopping. Superb dinner n La Champagne (Burgundy menu). We are now in day 1 of our 6 day crossing. Keep your finger crossed! We have good lectureers (I hope): an astronomer, a historian and a motivational speaker.

Glad to see your posts and that the Silver Cloud is looking so good. Brings back nice memories. Loved both Jorge and Gianni from our sailing together last July along the Norway coast. Send our greetings. Keep up the great reporting and sharing.
THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio

Hi, brimary. We get off in June and will not be back this year! On no! We will be going to the Wind. This has been an excellent cruise. I expected lots of down time and not much to do but ...NO...that has not been the case. There are multiple lectures per day and they are all excellent! There have been special meals, special shows and lots of other things thrown in! I may need a rest. Have enjoyed the other CCers but still haven't found whimsy1! Out best to you both. love @cruise, yes, it will be Ricardo and his mother visiting.

Good morning Duct tape - it was good to sail with you and j across the Atlantic in wonderful conditions on a wonderful ship. We arrived home safely after an easy journey and hope that you both are enjoying the next leg. It was a truly special voyage, much enhanced by the company and the best Crew afloat. Please be good enough to say a special thank you to Gianni from us when you next meet him, and of course our love to Judi.
We wish you many happy days ahead and hope to catch up with you both again soon.
