When we sailed the Zuiderdam 1 & 1/2 years ago, there was a sushi bar that was open before dinner at the back of lido. Does this still exist?

Cheers,
Al

On nice days at sea, on the lower promenade deck, you'll see a man with a long fishing pole. HAL guarantees the freshest sushi anywhere!

I'm sorry, that was a joke. Your question really was valid and I should be ashamed. But sometimes you can't help yourself. Susan.

If you knew Sushi, like I know Sushi, oh, oh, oh what a fish!

Yes, one of the Lido stations seemed to always have Sushi during our recent cruise.

Did they have a special sous-chef for the sous-shi?

I found the sushi on the Zui to be the worst sushi I've ever had. The rice was way too sticky with too much vinagar and just tasted bad. I love sushi, but that was not sushi.

Ever since living in Tokyo, I've developed a love for good Sushi, but never eat it off a buffet & would never eat Sushi on HAL.

DH loves sushi.

On the Oosterdam and Westerdam he would have it as often as possible at lunch. On the Vista class ships it is offered every day at the wok station.

What passes for sushi does not contain any raw fish. This was explained to me by the sushi maven as raw fish is a possible health hazard.

I found it awful.
