I am assuming that we will need to purchase minutes in the internet cafe in order to do this? Or is there another way that I am not aware of?

Nope, that is what you do. If you buy an Internet package, leave some minutes at the end for this.

Doesn`t HAL also offer a last day package for those who want to check in with their airline? I seem to remember a $12.00 fee but I can`t recall the number of minutes.

yes -- there is a package on the last day of the cruise -- so many minutes for a certain price -- plus the $3.95 activation fee

sorry i don't have any of those last minutes deals handy

If you use Luggage Direct, and don't have to worry about seat assignments for your flight - those boarding passes will be delivered to your cabin along with your luggage tags. No internet necessary.

That's good information Donna - I didn't realize that. Thanks :)

My understanding is I cannot upgrade my Airtran flight if I use this service. Please let me know if I am wrong! We use the luggage service at Disney and love it, but they can handle our upgrades.

On my last three HAL cruises, on the last full day, they offered 15 minutes of internet for $8 and 30 minutes for $12.
