Sailing on Volendam April 9 2005. Are there rooms to do your own laundry ?.

Yes, if you look at the ships layout on the HAL website, you can see the laundry locations. :)

Yes. In the middle of the lower prom deck and the verandah deck.

I believe that only the VISTA ships do not have self-service laundry rooms

According to the ship diagrams, launderettes are found on Main deck near the midship elevators, Lower Prom just aft of the atrium and Verandah deck between the forward and midship elevators. Detergent and bleach are provided. I believe they prefer you use their detergent which is environment friendly and does a good job. I think the washers and dryers are coin operated. You can get quarters at the Front Office. Ironing boards and steam irons are also available in the laundry rooms
