Interesting. The berth is available, since nobody else docks in Hamilton. I guess this chagne will save them some money on the tender costs, and they will avoid any issues with tendering in the dark. (I'm thinking mainly about getting pax between the tender and the ship.)
This will reduce the crowd size at the St Georges "harbour night."

In the old days of docking at ST Georges and making the move to Hamilton being on the second morning, you could make the change on your own overland. Not sure if they'll do that at night.
It's a good question to ask HAL.

Yes, you can meet up with the ship later. That question get's asked a lot when it comes to Bermuda. I've actually kept my moped and made the drop at Hamilton, it's a fun ride.

I wonder if that's what the line is actually hoping for in some way, that many people will decided to make their way to Hamilton on their own and therefore lessing up the need for as many trips to ferry people back and forth to the ship. Just a thought. The idea of leaving St George at 6 pm IMO is not such a terrible idea, makes it a lot easier on Wednesday am to get up and out early and it might be sorta nice to sail around the island early evening ~ gail

FYI, that is not the change for 2012, it's the change for this year. I just received an e-mail notification from my TA, that will be the intinerary when we go on 8/14/11.
