Can't make up my mind as to which cruise to take later this year. So far, it's the Carib on the Westerdam......

Hawaii on the Statendam .... and Mexico (again!) on the Ryndam.

What's the Sea of Cortez cruise like?
It looks like a nice alternative to the usual ports on the Riviera. And I like doing stuff 'off the beaten path'

The 7Nov 2005 on Ryndam looks cool.

I just did the Sea of Cortez on the Ryndam a couple of months ago and I really enjoyed it. I did find it to be a refreshing change from the 'standard' Mexican Riviera. I had done that sailing before. The ports are still 'relatively' undeveloped, the locals appreciative, and there are fun activities. For example, we went sea kayaking in Loreto - it was a blast!

Though I have not done it myself yet - I would go for the Ryndam and the Sea of Cortez -- a cruise I have been watching but I need a 10 day window to do it (not easy for me to organize at present) -- please go and let me know what it is like

I was thinking of doing Hawaii next year for my birthday.
The thing is, this cruise on the Statendam ALSO falls around my birthday!

Vic, com'on. I'm doing the far North Atlantic three years in a row, and four out the last five years! If you like an itinerary there's no reason not to repeat.
After all, how many people go to the Caribbean every year? Same thing. Only a lot more exotic!
