There will be a HUGE Web Cam Banner Wave Today on the Oosterdam

Good Morning from the West Coast, where the Oosterdam is already docked in San Diego :)

Today at 3 pm West Coast time will be one of the largest web cam waves in a long time on the Oosterdam. The ship is prepared and should have the doors open early to go out on deck over looking the bow.

Joanie will be leading this weeks group and says there should be about 70 CCers waving :D

This week we decided to take the Oosterdam to Hawaii October 22nd and while the Oosterdam has always held a special place in my heart I sure would like to spend all the Sea days on the Nieuw Amsterdam, especially if I could dine in the Tamarind having Dim Sum Lunch :D But it will be good to go back home to the Oosterdam, we thought it was fitting to be able to be on board for her Inaugural run to Hawaii :)

Peaches, stay tuned here to CC and hopefully I will be able to post pictures. Right now I am already having problems logging into the web cam and having it refresh, as soon as a couple of people try to access the web cam at the same time the server the camera is getting requests for different views and it often freezes up, if at 3 pm there are many people trying to view what is happening more than likely I will not be able to even get the picture of everyone waving. This has happened every time we have a huge group doing the wave. So I just ask that no one tries to also view the ship at around three or I will not be able to refresh the screen to get the pictures. Ever time some one accesses it the camera moves :o

Then once they got the Banner out we had to get everyone lined up perfectly so we could start to Wave.
