While checking out 2006 cruises to Hawaii on the Amsterdam, I noticed an SA & SB category, but no explanation - I assume SA is midship - cost is $500 more than SB. Deck plan shows just S, although the cabin picture explanation has SA & SB. Will this be a new trend on all HAL ships?

Must be something really new. Just checked the HAL web site & no mention of it...But then not unusual for that web site to be behind the times....

Where did you find these designations?

are listed on the website pricing pages and showed up about a month ago. We first heard about it for the Amsterdam when we were talking to our TA about Hawaii.
They do not appear on the deck plans or in the brochures yet.
Apparently they reflect location only.

Thanks, GN. I guess it makes sense to split the S suites out by location and price them accordingly.
