Thanks so much, Whiskeyman. Went on our first HAL cruise 12/26/04- Volendam. Loved it so much, we booked Zuiderdam 12/30/05. Can hardly wait. But first to Alaska 6/10 on Mercury.

I read your review on the other thread and was looking forward to seeing the pictures. We never remember to take any pictures on all of our vacations or we do and throw the film in a drawer where it languishes for years. Your shots brought back many memories of our other cruises. This is our first cruise on HAL and our 6th as a couple. We are taking our two youngest daughters with us as it is spring break for them. The 20 year old is staying home by choice.

Looking at your pictures make me wish we had a bigger cabin with a balcony, but oh well we will have a good time with our plain old outside cat D quad. We leave on March 19th and my husband is looking forward to the meal you described in the Pinnacle. We have reservations the first night.
