Got a message from TA a few days ago, this voyage itinerary has changed dramatically. Japan is out. Interesting ports for us, and they gave an additional substantial discount for not canceling. Still some suites left, so thought I would share! We are doing it B2B with Voyage 3127 Hong Kong to Singapore.

OP, thanks for your posting. I'm on Voyage 3127 - Hong Kong to Tokyo on October 5. Well no, actually, now Hong Kong to Singapore! I had not received anything about the change in itinerary, and your message made me reach out to Silversea. Not only have they dropped all the Japan ports, the ONLY port that has stayed the same on our trip is Hong Kong! The new itinerary is very Thailand and Vietnam focused, with one stop in Malaysia.

And my flight options back from Singapore don't work out for the day of disembarkation (the only flights leave before the ship docks), so I would have to extend my 2 1/2 week vacation by another day - not an easy thing for someone still working.

Looks like I have a decision to make. But who knows when I would have found out had it not been for your message. So thank you!

Hello,
We are going on this cruise and just noticed that the first port of call is not there and we will have 2 days in Singapore instead. We have never been on the Silverseas. I wonder if the ship will be full only one other person answered the roll call. We will most likely fly in a few days early to Singapore and will probably stay at the Hilton. Do passengers on these cruises REALLY dress up.
We normally cruise Azamara Club Cruises which is pretty casual.
