I don't know what pier we will be docking at on March 20 as the Westerdam.

Right now we are in cabin 1907. Asked to be offered an upgrade but we will have to see what happens. --- I thought we were cruised out last fall after the 21 day Panama trip but after after a few, less than stellar, days in Seattle were off again. --- See you on board.

Congratulation, Krazy Kruizers, you are doing the cruise I basicly wanted. But my wife decided that 20 days plus hotel plus flight are to much. My wife asked for an European cruise, but - maybe it's my wrong education - I don't pay for 10 nights Europe the same money than for 20 nights Caribbean.
There must be anyway a big misunderstanding: Europeans pay more money for ships going to America and Americans pay more money for Europe.
Now we are starting next Monday (28th Febr) at Frankfurt airport, but this time by bus, going south through half of Germany, through Swiss (1 hotel night) and Italy to Savona where on Tuesday the Costa Fortuna is waiting. I got a so called grand suite for a very special price.
When I'm back and some people are interested I could write about the differences HAL to Costa from the view of a suite pax.
In the meantime I heard about 2 more couples of our small village doing the same cruise. So the 1st difference HAL/Costa will be: I have to behave.

Costa Fortuna is less than 2 years old. Costa Magica - same size - is the newest one.
