Is this a full serivce restuarant on the Westerdam? What type of food do they serve?

it serves specialty coffees and desserts, there is a small charge for the coffees, desserts are free

It is not a restaurant like you might be thinking of. No food is served there other the free pasteries to acommpany your coffee - you pay for them - and the prices start at $1.50 and go up depending on what size and kind of coffee you want. There are about 6 - 7 tables there with chairs.

It's a coffee and dessert bar .... kinda like a Starbucks setup. You are charged for the coffee, but the sweets are free.

Heard from a reliable source that these 'may' be phased out, and an Italian-style bistro will be put in it's place.

So, enjoy the goodies while you can.

Vic-what do you mean by this??? Are they going back to the Java Cafe'?...Are they doing away with any type of coffee bar-purchased or free?
I know the operative word is 'MAY'- But...just the thought of it!!!
I NEED A MOCHA!!!!
