agree - it could get boring here if we didn't have all these lively threads

Postings appear to fall under two broad catagories: 1) information - looking for it or supplying it and 2) engaging in a conversation about something we all seem to love...cruising. The wonderful thing about a Board like this is that you can either passively or actively participate. I enjoy it, even the over discussed threads (which I believe #9 was mine).

Seems to me that, after reading through the suggested threads, instead of "over discussed" subjects we've got more of a list of often discussed subjects. If we eliminated even half of the suggested threads this board would virtually be silent. :rolleyes: OK...OK....maybe not silent but certainly a lot less active. :)

What's funny is that RuthC thinks post count is a waste of bandwidth. It's a measure of nothing of importance. If that field were removed we might end up with fewer worthless posts.

This thread strikes me as rather unkind and will probably discourage people from asking questions, yet in a way I get the point. The same questions do get asked over and over.
However, it's often time consuming and confusing to search through thousands of posts to find an answer.
For instance the sticky on 'As you Wish Dining' is enormous, and the first posts are several years old, so you have to wade through hundreds of posts to get your answer.
There should be ONE sticky that ONE person keeps updated with answers to the most frequently asked questions.
