VOV 2011 - Formal Nights

We are on the first half of the Voyage of the Vikings (VOV) this year and wanted to know which nights would most likely be the formal nights? We would like to pre-book one night at Pinnacle, but prefer to eat in the MDR on formal nights since the menu options in the MDR are usually better on formal nights.

Most likely July 24, 28, Aug 4, 7. You have anumber of sea days, so the middle two could move a little. But the first and last should be solid.

Speculating whether there will be four or five formal nights.

Predicated on only four formal nights, I'd suggest the other two would be:
Thursday, July 28 and Thursday, August 4.

Interesting as An Evening at Le Cirque is scheduled for August 4th. Maybe it is not worth $78.00 for a couple when the MDR might be as good. The other issue is that my DH does not eat dessert (only lemon sorbet), and he also does not eat salad and I think that was the only option for one course. Does anyone have any comments on the Le Cirque menu?
