Can anyone give me info on the parking situation at Lauderdale Port Everglades? Easy to get a spot? Exactly where do we go? And what is the price per day? We plan to park our car there while on our cruise for 10 days. Any pointers?
Thanks in advance,
Nancy (leaving on the Rotterdam on March 6th)

We parked there on our last cruise on Zuiderdam. 6 Ships in port and the garage was at least half empty. It is directly accross from pier 26 which is where Zui was docked. We dropped our bags curbside with a porter and were parked and inside the terminal in a matter of a few minutes.
If I remember, the cost as $12 per day. Your car is out of the weather and the port is very secure. Exiting was just as easy.

Do they accept credit cards, or is it cash only?

Parking for Port Everglades! If you are interested in saving a couple dollars go to :www.airportparkingreservations.com -- They have a garage and provide shuttle to and from the Ft Lauderdale airport and Port Everglades.

The Port Everglades Mid-Port parking garage is great and $12/day is worth the convenience and security. Drive right up to the terminal, drop off luggage, and the parking deck is right there. Easy exit when disembarking also. Pay when leaving with cash or credit card.
Pointers?? Just one- write down exactly the deck level and location where you park your car AND put it in your wallet! You think you'll remember where your car is 10 days later? Ha!

This is soooo true!!! Write your location on your parking ticket and put it in a safe place in your wallet for when you return.
That way you'll find your car easily. It's a HUGE garage.

I thought it was small and would have trouble finding a spot! Au contraire!! We'll write down the location for sure...good idea! Glad I asked and thanks for all the answers!
