This will be my first cruise with HAL. Is cabin #8097 a good choice? Would cabin 8099 next door have been a better choice? Not sure if those angled cabins have larger verandahs, rooms or both. Does anyone know for sure? Any pros or cons to the Navigation deck?

We had 8094 on the Westerdam and loved it. There were 3 of us in the cabin and although the verandah may be a bit smaller, I think the cabin itself is a bit larger.

We were just on the Westerdam (sister ship) in 8097 the wk of 2-13. 8097 was great! If you would like me to send some pics, send me an email at crockea@yahoo.com. I probably won't be able to send for a couple of days, but will be happy to send you some. You'll love the way the couch "flips" over to become the 3rd bed. I wish I would have taken a pic of it but forgot. It's even as thick as a regular mattress and stays out of the way, unlike the traditional sofabeds. I am not sure of I would want the angled cabin as I think it's set up a little odd. Our neighboors said they rearranged their cabin so that the chairs and table looked out on to the veranda. ?
