Ooesterdam internet Access

Hello everyone - Just wanted to see how the internet access from the room worked on the Ooesterdam. I will have a laptop (I know, work never ends), and know that I can access via dial-up from the room, though wanted to see if I needed any special equipement from the guest service desk. When I was on RCCL last time, you had to get a special "phone kit" and they did not have enough of them...I ended-up having to get on a waiting list. I ust want to make sure that I do not have to do anything or just plug into the phone line and I'm set to go.

I don't believe you need anything special but be aware that the thruput is extremely slow. Bring a wireless card and you can set yourself up in the Ocean Bar or the Crow's Nest with at least adequate connection speeds.
