NOLA Debarkation?

I am trying to figure out which flight to book for the end of my cruise. Will I make a noon departure from NOLA airport? Is debarkation quick? I will be on the Voyager of the Seas in Nov. I am looking for anyone recently travelled from NOLA. Carnival or Norweigian Cruisers past experience?

If you carry your own luggage off....no problem. It also depends on where your cruising to, I haven flown right through customs after a Bahamas cruise and then spent 3 hours after a Mexico cruise. If you can carry your own luggage....is the the quickest way to go.

Thanks for the response. We have a three year old and are travelling with 4 other people. I think I'll try and book a flight around 2pm to give us some more breathing room.
