Hello everybody

We are cruising on the Westerdaam from Ft Lauderdale in three weeks, the week of March 20th. I was inquiring about the cost of Coke cards both for children and adults. Also, I was curious to know from any recent Westerdaam cruisers if any progress had been made on the building of a mini golf course on the ship, a move discussed by HAL a while back. In addition, if anyone cares to comment on the quality or accesibility of the basketball court(s) on board, feel free. Thanks

I believe if you purchase your soda card onboard it will cost you something like $35 but if you buy it via Ship Services before you go it's only $27.50. Enjoy your cruise. :)

The Oosterdam (sister ship of the Westerdam) has a golf simulator, but no mini-golf or plans for any AFAIK.

What is the procedure to "buy it via Ship Services"?

I called HAL and they said the soda cards are 27.50 for a 7 day cruise that does not stop at their private island. 35.00 if they do.

I think the card is good on the ship only...you would have to buy a different one for HMC. Or maybe they have changed things...on their online gift form you can order one for $27.50 and fax it in to them.
