The Cruise Weekly of 31 May reports that that all current, discharged and retired members of the Australian and NZ Defence Forces will be given onboard credit of up to $250 when booking a cruise with P & O Cruises Australia, Princess Cruises or Cunard (represented in Australia by Carnival)
"We think it is a great way of acknowledging the men and women who give so much to their countries" said Carnival Australia Senior Vice President Jenny Lourey.
It is alleged that many military veterans in Australia and New Zealand are switching from HAL to Princess
I understand Princess offers the same OBC to US veterans.
HAL does not offer OBC to retired military at all.
Why is HAL the only major company in the Carnival Group not offering OBC to veterans???
