Blue Grotto is interesting. Cave with access from small opening in sea. Reflections from light on ceiling and wall . I liked overall Capri very much, Blue Grotto so-so

Well, this is quite an experience. Glad we did it because it was an adventure. If I would of known the details I would not have gone. But glad we did. One thing about that place is the tide has to be right and they close alot. We took a good size boat with about 10 people out to the entrance of the Grotto. When we got there there were very small row boats outside the cave. Lots of boats and lots of people. It is very time consuming. You step from the larger boat to the row boat not on shore but in the water. The little boat is swaing side to side. Then they tell all 4 of you to lay down on the floor of the row boat until we clear the entrance. The cave entrance is very small. The person rowing the boat has to duck way down to avoiding wacking his head. Once inside the water is stunning. So blue and peaceful inside. You are not in there very long. Then you lay down again to get out. Watch out; cameras get soaked. I forgot to mention once you pay for the boat ride out there you have to pay again to get in the row boat. Then when you are out they ASK you for a tip. You step back into the big boat for a nice ride around the island. Capri is beautiful. It was fun and we took video of it and love to watch it. It was a one time thing but do it. It is sun!
