Hi All
We're leaving this Sat on the Zaandam out of Vancouver, just a few questions from the experts:
What nights are formal? Second night out?
Where on the ship is the best place to view Glacier Bay for the day?
Can you make dinner reservations for the week or do you have to call each morning?
Any word on the Mariner 3 star lunch?
Grazie:rolleyes:

I assume you mean the Zandaam cruise that departs on Sunday 6/12. I'm guessing that both formal nights will be sea days- probably and Friday- I don't think they would do a formal night the last night because they need you to get your bags out by midnight or earlier. We have a roll call going for the cruise and plan to meet in the Crow's Nest on Monday at 10:00 am for a ship sponsored meet and greet. We are a pretty international group- India and Germany are represented. Hope to see you there. Sandy

We were on the 1st sailing of the season north on the Zaandam. Formal nights were 2nd night (Inside Passage) and 6th night (Glacier Bay). Last evening was Master's Chef Dinner.
For Glacier Bay, start out the day at the Crow's Nest, then move out to the bow via the show theater.
We called most mornings to schedule MDR reservations. They accept them 8a-4p. We made the reservations at the MDR for the next night a few times.
