Has anyone gone diving with Hal? We'er on the 3-12 Zaandam cruise and this will be our first time to Cosamel and Grand Cayman so we thought we would just dive with HAL. How was the diving? Do they have good equipment? Are the dives usually first thing in the morning? If they tender do they take you right from the ship? I would really like to Know what to expect. Eileen, I'm a snorkeler, not a scuba diver. However, I can tell you you'll be much better off going with an independent operator. Both Cozumel and Cayman have excellent dive shops, and diving is great at both.
Have you visited the "Scuba and Snorkeling" board? You should get good info there.
I've booked a snorkel with Eagle Ray at Cozumel. I haven't any history w/Eagle Ray, but they come highly recommended for both diving and snorkeling.
