Just checking to see if they provide Kleenex in the rooms....or do I have to pack a box?

Leave your tissue box at home. As in hotels, the bathrooms have tissues loaded in the countertop. Have a great cruise.

Facial tissue (not Kleenex brand) is provided, but I usually bring my own anyway. If I get a cold or have sinus problems I prefer something softer than what hotels/ships generally offer. Now we generally take longer cruises (typically about 3 weeks), for just one week I might not do so. I don't normally bring home the box - that gives just a little extra space in the suitcase. ;)

Great....I thought they probably would. Do they have shower caps as well?

We had a shower cap and tissues, but after a couple of days, I dug out the tissues I had brought because what they provided was rough in comparison.

All HAL ships have shower caps in the bathrooms. They're quite small so if you have 'big hair', you might wish to bring your own.

Yes, kleenex is provided in all staterooms. :) And when I looked on the back of a box I discovered that is was made in China.

On the Zaandam a couple of months ago we had a new, smaller box of tissues. These tissues are definitely the one-blow size. I would likely bring a couple of boxes of my own on the next cruise because we prefer a bit larger and sturdier tissue.

Shower caps and handlotion had to be asked for and the cabin stewards had to hunt them down for me. Probably a supply problem. I will be bringing both on the next cruise, just in case.

You all must have a lot of room in your luggage. I can barely fit in all my clothes. Then again I do bring formal stuff:p:D;).

I caught a cold on my last cruise and went through about a box of tissues a day. Yes they are there and the attendant never missed replacing an empty or almost empty box
