Going on the Westerdam for a week. Is it cheaper to buy the soda card in advance on the Holland site, or is the price the same if I wait to buy them on board.

Will the card be available when you first get on the ship or do you have to wait until you enter your cabin?

I think they put a sticker on your ship card when you register at the pier.

Last week they were selling a soda card fro $17.50--10 cans of soda--not the fountain glass of soda. Thye were selling this on the dock waiting area and later on the Lido deck.

How do you buy online? I have been looking on the website and have not found any links for it. Maybe they have taken it off?

I didn't see the the soda card online either. It is on their PDF gifts form. I called ships services, 1-800-541-1576. My soda card was $43 for a 10-day + 15% gratuity, unlimited fountain drinks.

I just checked the online form and it is still there, in the last section called "Wine and Beverage" and it is item #934 - 7-Day "Fountain" Soft Drink Card. To get to this order form you have to go to the Onboard Experience tab and then click on Gifts And Special Occasions. Isn't this what you are looking for? :)

I think they wanted to be able to point and click, without calling HAL. I did that for the flowers and champagne, but couldn't do it for the soda card without calling.

I printed off the form and faxed it to Seattle...the drink cards were confirmed yesterday. :)

Does anyone know if the soda cards include bottled water?

No, they do not include bottled water.
That is sold separately.

Really? Ouch. That's gonna add up over the week.
Thanks! :)

Thanks, I hadn't actually looked at the pdf form. I just looked at the list of what was available under the beverages link and saw they listed non-alcoholic beverages, but at that point meant non-alcoholic wines.
But now that I looked at the pdf, I see it
Thanks again

Mach, try the tap water onboard. I think you'll find it to be as good, if not better, than the bottled water. The water onboard is desalinated sea water, is very pure and tastes great. I think you'll be surprised. The other good thing about the tap water is its free and readily available :)
Also, someone mentioned a $17.50 soda card good for 10 cans. If I remember right, a canned soda cost $1.75 on board. You can get them right out of the mini bar in your stateroom. If you need more, just ask your cabin steward.
