The shoe thread was so fun, I thought I'd start this. Me:
Throw something on when room service gets there in the morning.
Swimsuit & coverups for lounging on the lido deck.
Jeans or khakis for lunch in the dining room (nobody deserves to see my legs while the eat.)
Back into the lido/shore excursion clothes.
Dress to code of the day for dinner.
Possibly bar-hopping clothes late night.
Yes, I'm getting the unlimited laundry package. :eek:

You gotta wear clothes on Holland?!?

:rolleyes: :) :rolleyes:
I'll get dressed in the morning for breakfast, change if needed for the day's activities or weather, then change again before dinner. DW just informed me yesterday that I'll have to pack more things to cruise on the Infinity next fall because the only way Celebrity does laundry is "by the piece!"

When I awake I first put on my exercise clothes, then after exercise I shower, I will wear my "Day Time" outfit of the day. Then I always change for dinner even if it is a casual night. The only variable is if I do go swiming or go to the spa then the swim suit fits into that routine.
This is so exciting talking about this with less than 2 weeks to go:D

Dressed in the morning. Change to swimsuit for late-day swim/hot tub (don't start:rolleyes: ). Dress for dinner/evening. Off to sleep.
I've got better things to do than return to the cabin to change clothes very often.

Dress in the A.M., change for dinner, undress for bed. Only if something became soiled would I change mid-day.

I always need something for a early morning walk, then change for breakfast. After that if we're in port I usually keep the same ourfit on, but if at sea then I change into swimwear. Then the evening type dictates what I wear then. I always bring too many clothes but there is a lot of changing.

...everywhere on the ship during the day?
I love to stay casual and comfortable.
My first cruise so do not know all the dress codes except for formal nights.

Tsk Tsk Tsk ... germs, germs, germs .....;) (you asked for it ... hee hee hee):)
Seriously, I would guess I change at least 3 times, sometimes 4 ... I dress for Breakfast, often change to go ashore, change when I get back to do whatever I'm going to do (definitely not the hot tub;) ) ....... and then for dinner. That's not to say that I don't repeat some of these outfits since I've only had them on a couple of hours each.

Shorts are fine during the day. I sometimes feel a bit out of place wearing shorts in the atrium part of the Ocean Bar checking email with my wireless-connected laptop at about 5:30 when first-seating-upper diners are coming thru in their tuxes and such on formal night, but I console myself that 5:30 really isn't "evening" so I'm not actually violating the dress code :)

1. In the morning I put on a bathing suit and a coverup on sea days, sundress or shorts on port days.
2. In the evening I change to appropriate attire as requested in the daily program.
3. Get undressed before bed.
That's it! I like my life simple.

If we are in the Caribbean:
Gym clothes first thing to use treadmill;
Shower and for room service breakfast, put on a silk robe or cotton , long (to the knees T shirt shift);
Capri pants/sundress for the day if going ashore;
Exercise shorts/t shirt for walking Promenade Deck;
Swim suit for the pool if we get back from shore early enough to get some sun;
Dress per the requested code for the evening.

Twice. First thing in the morning and when we change for dinner.
Our suitcases are full enough and numerous enough as is. When cruising in cool/cold areas we may also start the day with a sweatshirt or heavy sweater and switch to a lighter sweater/top later in the day.

I do not consider putting on a robe for room service breakfast or a swimsuit as "dressing" so I will say 2 times a day.
Day-casual clothing
Night-dressing for the evening.

I'm usually not spending much time at the pool, so I don't have to worry about the swimsuit.
For sea days, I generally shower in the morning and put on my "daytime" outfit, which stays on until I go back to the cabin for "afternoon nap" ... after "afternoon tea," of course! After I wake up, I shower again and put my nighttime outfit on ... which will depend upon the dress code for dinner that evening.
Now, if I'm in port, how many times I change depends upon what I am doing while there, and how long. If I am in port all day, then I still only change once in the morning. But if we are back early, often I will shower and change into something fresh before going off to do something on the ship.
I sometimes feel bad for the cabin steward ... especially when there's a heap of dirty towels on the floor from two showers for him to deal with each time he cleans. I usually shower before bed and then again in the morning. Then if I've gone swimming or diving in port, I'll shower when I get back to the ship, and then maybe again before dinner. I sure would think twice about tossing those towels on the floor if I was the one who was gonna be washing them! :)
Blue skies ...

We always do Caribbean cruises, so it's easy to get hot and sweaty, and I found if I changed too often, I ran out of clean clothes (and I definitely don't want to spend cruise time doing laundry!!!). So on casual days, after we get back from shore excursions/whatever, I shower and change into a fresh set of casual clothes. I wear them that late afternoon/evening and then put them back on the following morning, maybe substituting shorts for khakis. Yes, they're not fresh, but they're soon going to get sweaty anyway. I pack far less this way but still am in fresh clean clothes everyday...just a little later in the day than everyone else! :-)
