Just read on another thread about cabins under the pool deck being noisy in the morning due to moving the deck chairs around. Can anyone allay my fears that it is not a huge issue on Zuiderdam? I am an early riser but prefer to wake up on my own not by a horrendous sound from above. I recently upgraded from upper verandah to navigation deck to a SS as a surprise for my husband. Don't want the wrong kind of surprise.

We were on the Navigation deck on the Zaandam, exactly midship. You could hear the chairs being moved above you. It wasn't really annoying and it didn't wake us.
I would suggest that you check placement of the cabin in relation to the outside part of the Lido deck if you're concerned about scraping sounds.

we were on the Zaandam in December, near the stern on the Navigation deck so we were under the pool -- only remember hearing the deck chairs in the late afternoon when the sun bathers left and the cleaning crews straigtened it all up
