can someone help me. where do the carnival ships dock in st lucia? is it in castries? is there shopping by the dock? thank you :confused:

yes, the ship docks in Castries Harbor - usually at Pointe Seraphine. There is shopping right at the dock and the craft market is about a 10 minute walk away, with the "city center" about 15 minutes walk. The other dock is La Place Caranage, which is also has shopping at the pier, with the craft market again about 10 minutes and "city center" 5 minutes. The 2 docks are about a 15 minute walk from each other following the water line or a $5US pp ferry ride across the water. Not worth the ferry n my opinion as you walk past the craft market in between the 2 docks.
